Our Mission Statement: To provide a safe and enjoyable equine experience for people with physical and mental disabilities, encouraging each rider to develop independent skills at his/her own level of ability.

Who Can Ride: Almost anyone can be considered for riding lessons. We include children and adults who are mentally challenged or who have physical, developmental and emotional needs.

Riding Benefits: Horseback riding is widely recognized as one of the most beneficial forms of recreational therapy there is for special needs people. Riding develops self-awareness, builds confidence and improves self-discipline. It also relaxes, strengthens and tones muscle, increases joint mobility and improves posture, balance and coordination. Through horseback riding, students gain a sense of freedom and awareness of their bodies that cannot be duplicated with other activities. Overall, horseback riding gives our students a tremendous boost in self-esteem! Not to mention how it feels inside to hug a horse.

The essence of what we do can be communicated by this poem.
